My journey in the world of building and design started as an apprentice carpenter with Update Renovate. I was lucky enough to learn the ropes alongside my father, Kevin Hattin. After I completed my carpentry apprenticeship, I wanted to gain practical on-site construction experience before diving into the design sector.

My journey then took me to Sydney following my soon to be wife, where I got to work on a wide range of projects, including everything from residential, commercial to industrial, in a design and estimating role at John R Dean Construction.

But I couldn’t be away from Brisbane for more than a few years. I returned to take over my grandfather’s role as Project Manager, Designer, and Estimator at Update Renovate. During my time there, I was honoured with multiple awards for renovation and extension projects, which truly reflects my dedication to creating exceptional spaces with innovative design and building quality.

With my extensive experience in design, estimating, and hands-on construction, coupled with my cutting-edge proficiency in utilizing 3D technology, I bring a wealth of expertise and a unique skillset to the table.
