Completed in 2021, this project was for a 76m2 second storey extension on the back of the existing pre 1946 Character Queenslander home in Inner Brisbane. The extension included a new master suite with walk in wardrobe and ensuite, a sixth bedroom/ home office and a rumpus room opening onto a balcony all designed to maximise the city views. On the ground floor the stairs where designed to make better use of study nook area with ample under stair storage.
The Brisbane second storey extension was designed over the rear of part of the existing dwelling, ensuring that no part of this home is greater than two stories and is located behind the forward ridge, complying with Brisbane City Council planning requirements as a simple building application.
